Christmas in July -- At the July 2010 meeting, Capitol Quilts set up a small store at the back of the room and talked to us about the many wonderful projects that could be finished in time for holiday gift-giving.  There was also plenty to see at the July Show & Tell portion of the meeting. 

Maria O'Haver, who is known for her Beautiful Maryland quilt pattern series, spoke at the Guild's Oct., 2009 meeting.   Shown below are a few pictures from that meeting.  Hopefully, more will be added later. 

The guild hosted Gyleen Fitzgerald's workshop, Going in Circles,
in October, 2009.

Several guild members participated in a Mystery Quilt Challenge.  At our September,
2009 meeting, they revealed their quilts.

Linda Pool spoke at the Guild's June 2009 meeting and brought a trunk show
of her quilts, including her famous quilts, The Bride and A Girl's Life.  Pictures
from that lecture appear below. 

In May, 2009, the guild hosted a workshop with Helen Squire on
quilting those UFO's (UnFinished Objects).
